Traded in where I work. 89 GTA t-tops, 36000 miles. Just picked it up straight from the hoard. Great shape though. Tires have flat spots, obviously. Power antenna won't stop running, and AC isn't cold. Other than that a good detail and it'll be ready to go. An employee will end up scooping this up before we ever offer it for sale.

Auto. You can see the top of the shifter in the picture of the radio.

Sad so many of these are in bad shape. They are excellent looking cars

Because fade up and fade down are the 2 controls you need front and center on the wheel.

If memory serves, t-tops were n/a with the 350, so that car is a 305. Not positive on that.
I do know for certain that you could not get the 350 with a stick.
Those cars are pretty much all show and no go, even by the standards of the day. Lot of weight there.

It's a 5.7. I've heard that about the t-tops before too, something about the torque of the engine would rip the car apart or some nonsense. Pretty sure that's a myth. (Source: I drove this car with a 350 and T-tops today and it didn't split in two, even when I powerbraked it at a stop light.)

I'm not sure but any machine/human interface usually places the most important controls for machine operation at the fingertips of the user, I think that this is some kind of huge stereo with an automobile built around it.

Part it out, sell me the wheels.
And the engine.
LOL.

*Gets excited* 1989 Pontiac Firebird GTA with original engine, original miles, original wheels, original paint, possibly original papers. Its not beaten to hell and someone left it in a barn?
*Gets less excited*It has a automatic transmission. Although in defense of the Pontiac, when you come across one of their beast cars putting up with a slushbox might be a small compromise.

I want to drive this and blast Def Leppard so very badly.
